If you are a fan of Joanna Gaines and the popular HGTV show, Fixer Upper, you know about the Silos and the Magnolia Market. Recently, a friend visited the Silos in Waco, TX, and shared her photos with me. To give you a visitor’s perspective, I thought it would be fun to share them with you! If you haven’t heard, Joanna and Chip Gaines have paired up with the Discovery channel. They will be taking over the DIY Network to form their Magnolia network that will feature “unique, inspiring, and family-friendly” content (Reference). The network is scheduled to launch in October 2020, and I can’t wait to see what they offer!

Overall my friend’s opinion was a resounding “I loved it!†and said it was “Like Disney, everything is perfect!†They said that they were impressed by the fact that the Silos brought tons of jobs to the area with the market, bakery, café, and coffee shop. FYI, Harp Design Co. and Jimmy Don are in the same area. When it was time to leave, they wished they had more time to spend there and said they would return!
