I have been in this field for over twenty years and can tell you that the homeowner’s perspective differs from that of potential buyers. You may have lived in your home a long while or collected many treasures, which would not translate well in professional photos. Understanding what the buyer in your specific area is looking for and how to maximize your house’s features takes a professional’s eye.

I can clean and throw things away; I don’t need someone to tell me how to go through that process.

Over the years, I have found that people overlook things that potential buyers will zero in on. When living in a space for an extended period, your eye gets used to seeing things as they are, tuning out the details. There is cleaning, then there is deep cleaning, especially for homes with pets. Understanding what to remove and why creates the best online presence and in-person walk-throughs.
