“The ideal time for staging your home is BEFORE the realtor comes to assess and price your home.” ~ Debbie Correale
As we head into August, the real estate market here on the east coast is picking up! Has your house been on the market for a while? Are you frustrated because your home is not selling? Do you find the feedback less than desirable and you don’t know how to turn the situation around affordably?
Staging can be a simple but impactful fix to a home and can add the necessary WOW to a room. The nice aspect of staging is that it does not have to be extensive or expensive. Sometimes a little bit of fluffy is all that is needed in a space.
Research shows that staging will help sell your home faster and make you more money! A properly staged home is set up to appeal to the greatest number of buyers and help the buyer visualize living in the home. One of the best sales techniques in selling a home is to place the furniture in the best location based on the architecture and function of the room. This helps the buyer know where to put their furniture should they buy the home.
Home staging is so much more than just clearing the clutter and painting the walls beige. Home staging helps Buyers make connections with homes. Most home purchases, believe it or not, are often based on emotion.
How does home staging work?
It’s an easy and fun process! First, Redesign Right will meet with you and your home for a thorough home staging consultation. During this time, an analysis of your home, through the eyes of a prospective buyer, will be done. During the consultation, an honest, objective and thorough “to do” list will be compiled to help you appeal to the greatest number of buyers and sell your home quicker! Redesign Right will be involved in your staging project as much or as little as you want and are comfortable with.
If needed, Redesign Right will come back with a group of certified trained home stagers to create “a model home” in one day starting with what you already own. They will rearrange and remove existing furniture and create the look that will accentuate the positive attributes of your home and appeal to the greatest number of buyers. Their method and process in preparing homes for sale has proven to sell properties faster and for top dollar.
