    Healthy and Restful Home Series

I was thinking about the past 20+ years of helping clients create a home they love. I discovered common themes to the questions that I’ve gotten. Over the next several weeks, I will offer bite-sized tips that you can implement in your home focused on creating a restful, healthy, organized, and beautiful home.

Before we begin this journey together, understand what you want to change and collect inspiration. Looking at expensive images of beautiful rooms can be overwhelming. Ask yourself, “What do I specifically like about an image?” Your answers will follow patterns that will add clarity to your end goal.

You can organize your goals by room and create an inspiration board on Pinterest for the room. Create sections, within the board, by the specific item in the room, and add notes to the pin when you save it. Your project will stay organized, and you can easily show it to a designer or contractor to convey what you want to accomplish.

Next week I will begin with furniture and how to choose pieces for a room and create functionality and a sense of rest.
