In the continuation of my Create a Healthy and Restful Home series, I focus on using textures for a restful home! When you walk into a room, you instantly perceive a feeling, and you may not know why. Often the textures in the room are not balanced, and you perceive them quickly and subconsciously, which gives you that response. We think of texture as only what we can touch; the visual weight of textures in a room, which includes light and color, all work together to create a balanced space.Â
