It is that fabulous time of year when the holiday decorations are appearing in all of our catalogs and store window displays. Does the beginning of this season bring you joy or a feeling of tension? Here is an informative blog post of mine to help you come up with a game plan for your holiday season, titled, “How to prepare (and decorate) for holiday guests!†that you may find useful.
If you find yourself in a situation where you know you want to make some changes in your home for company, relatives or friends, but you are unsure as to where to go, consider a redesign of your space. For example, if you are hosting meals wouldn’t it be gratifying to have a kitchen and dining room that flows naturally and looks spectacular! Too often we live with things as they have been sensing that things are not quite right, but unsure of what to change. Recently my students and I completed several home redesigns, and here is a few of their comments:
