I recently had the opportunity to do an Interior Redesign on a business space that I wanted to share with you.  I worked with Ann Marie of Ann Marie Casey Photography in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.  I loved having the opportunity to redesign this business as too often owners do not take into account their surroundings, which I do not understand since we spend many hours a day in our work environment.  I found this article on Forbes titled, “5 Small Workspace Changes That Will Make You More Productive” describing some things that can make a difference in employee productivity such as color therapy, lighting, and work space comfort.  Wouldn’t you love an environment for yourself and your employees that is conducive to productivity?  If people feel closed off and drab while they work, how will this translate into their quality of work?  After talking with Ann Marie about the reason why she contacted me, I asked if she would kindly answer some questions that I would love to include in a post to share with everyone … and this is what she said:

What made you want to hire a professional redesigner for your office?

We wanted our meeting room to fall inline with our brand and the quality level of services we provided. By hiring a professional interior designer, it allowed us to achieve the “look” we were striving for and stay within our budget. First impressions and comfort are very important to our business, and we wanted to create a room that met both expectations while showcasing our product lines.

What was your biggest surprise as a result of the redesign?

Our biggest surprise was how easy it was to bring in a professional. We had been trying to do it our self, spending way too much time and effort. Working with Debbie she utilized what we already had, moved it, tweaked it, and gave us a very specific list of items to purchase and items to remove. Had we hired Debbie from the beginning we would have saved not only time and aggravation but money, as well.

Would you recommend Redesign Right to a friend?

Already have! Working with Redesign Right was fantastic. We are firm believers in working with professionals who are talented in their perspective field. Debbie is not only talented but friendly, efficient and conscious of her client’s expectations.

If so, could you give a short summary as to how you benefited from working with Debbie Correale.

Debbie educated us that there is value in hiring a professional interior designer. In the long run, she saved us time, effort, money and delivered a room that exceeded our expectations. She was not only professional, but really fun to work with. She allows you to be a part of the process. As a person who likes direction, she provided a detailed list of items we would need, assisted in the shopping process, but allowed us to select the items we wanted. I personally as well as professionally cannot wait for the next project!

Thank You Ann Marie for taking the time to send me your responses; it was such a pleasure to work with you and your lovely business!  (By the way, Ann Marie is responsible for my lovely head shot that was recently updated.)  To learn more about what is involved in the redesign, visit my website by clicking here.  If you are a business and would like to freshen up your environment for yourself and your employees, contact Debbie@RedesignRight.com for a consultation.
