3 Tips for a Room Makeover

The process of making over any room is to start with inspiration. Choose something that you love and begin pulling the décor elements together. Let me share a personal example!

I had seen in my go-to gift shop in Newtown Square, PA, Beauty Art Gallery, a picture that I loved. It’s by artist Jeff Schaller who has a studio in Downingtown, PA. I am excited about how the room has come together, and I thought of you and had to share it!

3 Steps of a Room Makeover

  1. Start with a piece you love! It could be a piece of art, furniture, or rug.
  2. Go big! Don’t be afraid of large statement pieces! In this room, your eyes go directly to the artwork, and you can’t help but be captivated by it.
  3. Pick your colors. Once I chose the picture, all the colors followed. The room is dramatic, using white predominantly and touches of black for interest.

I love the motto of the owner of Beauty Art Gallery, Paula Jackson, who says, “We should all be able to have artwork and decor that makes us happy and creates an environment to enjoy life, family, and friends.”

I believe that all space can be beautiful, and I can help you if you find yourself struggling with pulling elements together in your room makeover. Give me a call at 610-955-8202 or email to set up your re-styling consultation.
