How to Decorate your Entryway or Hallway

Entryway

When it comes to home decorating, entryways and hallways, seem to be the most ignored. Entryways often become the catch-all for everything. You want your entrance to set the tone for your home and be inviting, may they be a narrow hallway or a grand foyer. Let’s go over ideas!

If you have a small space, go light and airy.

If your entryway is the only place to store your daily items:  shoes, bags, etc. purchase a cabinet or create your own with baskets and hooks to create the necessary storage. I found a fun instructional where they use an Ikea Kallax unit and turn it into a lovely farmhouse style bench, click here to view.

Use a light colored bench and bright pillows to brighten up your entryway.

If your entryway opens up to a narrow hallway, add a narrow table no more than 10-12” wide. Click here to view options at Wayfair.

Don’t let that hallway be a vacant spot! Warm it up with artwork and pillows.
