I love the new color for 2014!! The nice characteristic about this color is EVERYONE can wear it and decorate with it. Since purple is created by a combination of red (warm color) and blue (cool color) this particular color works with any skin tone and any warm or cool color decorating scheme! Pantone ® just announced this 2014 color of the year as Radiant Orchid (18-3224)! We will start to see this color popping up everywhere, makeup, fashion, home goods and even in electronics! This is a fun, versatile color, and I think Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute® describes this upcoming color perfectly,

Hummmm, beguiling charm…I do like the sound of that! I’m sure many of you may be hesitant to run out and paint your walls this vibrant color, but what a lovely accent color to add that pop to a room!
